ABOUT THE XIRCLE.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Experience the emotion of the music, the finest details and tonal hues to huge dynamics, the Xircle delivers it all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of the Xircle’s features are derived from the Revolve turntable in a more affordable package.<\/span><\/p>\n

Critical attention is paid to the various elements that enable the Xircle to provide a perfect platform. These include, the off-board motor pod and off board controller, extensive acoustic de-coupling measures, multi constrained layer plinth assembly, dual layer high inertia platter assembly and finely specified, substantial bearing assembly, all of which contribute to the turntables unerring performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The mirror gloss plinth can be finished in the colour of your choice. Any length and type of tonearm can be fitted, a mounting adaptor will be made to fit your preferred tonearm.<\/span><\/p>\n

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ISOLATION PODS.\u00a0Three high mass isolation pods, separate from the plinth, acting like shock absorbers, provide isolation from stand borne vibrations. The front two are adjustable to level the turntable.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

PLINTH ASSEMBLY. Multiple layers of steel and MDF board all separated by PU elastomer assembled in a constrained layer configuration, create a high mass, non resonant assembly. The plinth and bearing assembly combined weigh 25 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n

BEARING ASSEMBLY. Precision ground heavy duty 16 mm diameter shaft, immersed in purified synthetic oil, sintered bronze bearing sleeves in 60 mm diameter brass housing. Ceramic thrust bearing and pad. Mass damping surrounding bearing housing.<\/span><\/p>\n

PLATTER ASSEMBLY. Consists of two layers, acoustically de-coupled from each other. The lower disc is 30 mm thick aluminium and the upper layer is 18 mm POM. This configuration prevents unwanted vibrations from reaching the surface. The platter has high inertia due to the 7.5 kg mass of the assembly. A screw clamp engages the record to the platter surface.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DRIVE SYSTEM. Belt drive with an off-board motor pod weighing 7 kg. thus eliminating motor vibrations from affecting the plinth. The motor is an AC synchronous type. Speed selection buttons on the pod function as on\/off buttons.<\/span><\/p>\n

CONTROL SYSTEM. The power supply and controller are housed in a separate, off-board chassis to eliminate radiation n noise from affecting the pic-up. Each power supply is tuned to it’s specific motor and uses phase control for the smoothest operation. Speed setting is accurate to 0.03%. There is a timed start up ramp of 6 seconds to reduce stress on the motor and the belt.<\/span><\/p>\n

ARM BOARD ASSEMBLY. Constructed of aluminium, steel and POM, using the constrained layer principle, with acoustic isolation from the plinth, thus creating an inert platform for the tonearm. Adaptors are made to accommodate all types of tonearms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT. W = 503 mm\u00a0 x\u00a0 D = 450 mm. Overall weight = 47 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n
